- Allow the arrising Voice to season
- Debate, attacks and contradictions of others' messages is inapropriate
- Speak as clearly and conscely as possible
- Respectful Listening
- Don't judge the message or the messenger
- Be open to the truth that may be in a puzzling or annoying message
- Leave some time between messages
- Openness
- Be open to the Light that persons with unconventional behavior may bring
- It is that of the divine within all of us that unites us, not proper Quaker etiquette
- The meeting community can survive the occasional paux pas
